God’s Treasury
The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure. (Deuteronomy 28:12)
This refers first to the rain. The Lord will give this in its season. Rain is the emblem of all those celestial refreshings which the Lord is ready to bestow upon His people. Oh, for a copious shower to refresh the Lord’s heritage!
We seem to think that God’s treasury can only be opened by a great prophet like Elijah, but it is not so, for this promise is to all the faithful in Israel, and, indeed, to each one of them. O believing friend, “the Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure.” Thou, too, mayest see heaven opened and thrust in thy hand and take out thy portion, yea, and a portion for all thy brethren round about thee. Ask what thou wilt, and thou shalt not be denied if thou abidest in Christ and His words abide in thee.
As yet thou has not known all thy Lord’s treasures, but He shall open them up to thine understanding. Certainly thou hast not yet enjoyed the fullness of His covenant riches, but He will direct thine heart into His love and reveal Jesus in thee. Only the Lord Himself can do this for thee; but here is His promise, and if thou wilt hearken diligently unto His voice and obey His will, His riches in glory by Christ Jesus shall be thine.

கடவுளின் பொக்கிஷசாலை
கர்த்தர் உனக்குத் தமது நல்ல பொக்கிஷசாலை (யைத்)…. திறப்பார் (உபா.28:12).
முதலாவது இது மழை பெய்வதைக்குறிக்கிறது. ஏற்ற காலத்தில் கர்த்தர் இதை அளிப்பார். மழை ஆண்டவர் தம்முடைய அடியார்மேல் பொழிய ஆயத்தமாயிருக்கும் எல்லா விண்ணுலக பாக்கியங்களையும் குறிக்கும் தனிக் குறியாகும். ஆண்டவரின் உடைமையானவரின்மேல் இவ்வித மழை பொழிந்தால் எவ்வளவு நன்றாயிருக்கும்.
ஆண்டவரின் பொக்கிஷசாலையைத் திறக்க எலியா போன்ற பெரிய தீர்க்கராலேயே முடியும் என்று நாம் நினைக்கிறோம். ஆனால் அது உண்மையல்ல. இந்த வாக்குறுதி இஸ்ரவேலரில் திடப்பற்றுடைய ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் உரியது. ஆண்டவரை நம்பும் நண்பரே, கர்த்தர்உனக்குத் தமது நல்ல பொக்கிஷசாலையைத் திறப்பார். வானம் திறப்பதை நீரும் கண்டு, உம் கையை நீட்டி, உமக்கு வேண்டியதை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளலாம். உம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் உள்ள சகோதரருக்குத் தேவையானவற்றையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளலாம். நீர் கிறிஸ்துவிலும் அவர் வார்த்தைகள்உம்மிலும் நிலைத்திருந்தால் நீர் கேட்டுக்கொள்வது எதுவோ அது உமக்கு அருளப்படும். மறுக்கப்படமாட்டாது.
நீர் இன்னும் ஆண்டவரின் பொக்கிஷங்களைப்பற்றியெல்லாம் அறிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை. நீர் உய்த்தறிவதற்கு ஏற்றவாறு அவை அருளப்படும். நிச்சயமாக அவர்உடன்படிக்கையின் வலிமையை நீர் முழுவதுமாக இன்னும் அநுபவிக்கவில்லை. ஆனால் அவர் அன்பை நீர் அறியச் செய்து, உம்மில் இயேசுவை வெளிப்படுத்துவார். ஆண்டவர் ஒருவரே இதைச் செய்யக்கூடும். ஆனால் அதற்கான வாக்குறுதி கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. நீர் ஊக்கமான அவர் சத்தத்தைக்கேட்டு அவர் சித்தத்துக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தால் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவில் அவர் மகிமையின் செல்வங்கள் உம்முடையவையாகும்.

„Der Herr wird dir seinen guten Schatz auftun.“ 5. Mose 28, 12.
Dies bezieht sich zuerst auf den Regen. Der Herr wird diesen zu seiner Zeit geben. Regen ist das Sinnbild aller der himmlischen Erquickungen, die der Herr seinem Volke verleihen will. O, dass wir einen reichlichen Schauer hätten, des Herrn Erbteil zu erfrischen!
Wir scheinen zu denken, Gottes Schatz könne nur durch einen großen Propheten wie Elia aufgetan werden, aber es ist nicht so, denn diese Verheißung gilt allen Treuen in Israel und in der Tat, jedem Einzelnen von ihnen. O, gläubiger Freund, „der Herr wird dir seinen guten Schatz auftun“. Auch du kannst den Himmel aufgetan sehen und mit deiner Hand hineingreifen und dein Teil herausnehmen, ja, und ein Teil für alle deine Brüder um dich her. Bitte, was du willst, und es soll dir nicht versagt werden, wenn du in Christus bleibst und seine Worte in dir bleiben.
Bis jetzt hast du noch nicht alle Schätze deines Herrn gekannt, aber Er wird sie deinem Verständnis öffnen. Gewiss, du hast noch nicht die Fülle seiner Bundesreichtümer genossen, aber Er will dein Herz in seine Liebe hineinleiten und Jesus in dir offenbaren. Nur der Herr selber kann dies für dich tun; aber hier ist seine Verheißung und wenn du fl eißig auf seine Stimme merkst und seinem Willen gehorchst, so sollen seine Reichtümer in der Herrlichkeit durch Jesus Christus dein sein.
