We Dare Not Doubt

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron. (Isaiah 45:2)

This was for Cyrus; but it is evermore the heritage of all the Lord’s own spiritual servants. Only let us go forward by faith, and our way will be cleared for us. Crooks and turns of human craft and satanic subtlety shall be straightened for us; we shall not need to track their devious windings. The gates of brass shall be broken, and the iron bars which fastened them shall be cut asunder. We shall not need the battering ram nor the crowbar: the Lord Himself will do the impossible for us, and the unexpected shall be a fact.

Let us not sit down in coward fear. Let us press onward in the path of duty, for the Lord hath said it: “I will go before thee.” Ours not to reason why; ours but to dare and dash forward. It is the Lord’s work, and He will enable us to do it: all impediments must yield before Him. Hath He not said, “I will break in pieces the gates of brass”! What can hinder His purpose or balk His decrees? Those who serve God have infinite resources. The way is clear to faith though barred to human strength. When Jehovah says, “I will,” as He does twice in this promise, we dare not doubt.

நாம் சந்தேகப்பட வேண்டியதில்லை

நான் உனக்கு முன்னே போய், கோணலானவைகளைச் செவ்வையாக்குவேன். வெண்கலக் கதவுகளை உடைத்து, இரும்புத் தாழ்ப்பாள்களை முறித்து… (ஏசா.45:2).

மேலே கூறப்பட்டவை கோரேசுக்குச் சொல்லப்பட்டவை. ஆயினும் ஆண்டவரின் ஆன்மீக ஊழியக்காரர் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் வருங்காலத்துக்கு எல்லாம் பொருந்துபவை. நாம் நம்பிக்கையோடு முன்னேறினால் நம் பாதை நமக்காகச் செவ்வைப்படுத்தப்படும். பாதையில் மக்களால்ஏற்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள வளைவுகளும், திருப்பங்களும் சாத்தானின் சூழ்ச்சித் திரத்தால் உண்டாக்கப்பட்ட மேடு பள்ளங்களும் செம்மையாக்கப்படும். அவர்கள் சூழ்ச்சித்திறத்தால் ஏற்படுத்திய பாதையில் நாம் செல்லவேண்டியதில்லை. வெண்கலக் கதவுகள் உடைக்கப்படும்.இரும்புத் தாழ்ப்பாள்கள் முறிக்கப்படும். மதிற்சுவர்களைத் தகர்ப்பதற்கான பெருஞ்சம்மட்டியாவது கடப்பாரையாவது நமக்குத் தேவையில்லை. செய்வதற்கு அரிதான ஆண்டவரே நமக்காகச் செய்வார். எதிர்பாராது நிறைவேறும்.

கோழைத்தனமான அச்சத்தினால் நாம்உட்கார்ந்து விட வேண்டியதில்லை. கடமையை நிறைவேற்றும் பாதையில் நாம் முன்னேறிச் செல்வோமாக. ஏனெனில் ஆண்டவர் நான் உனக்கு முனனே செல்லுவேன் என்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறார். காரணம் கேட்காமல் பாய்ந்து தாக்கவேண்டியது நம் கடமையாகும். அது ஆண்டவரின் வேலை. அதைச் செய்துமுடிக்க அவர் உதவி செய்வார். அவருக்கு முன்பாக எல்லா தடைகளும் தகர்த்து எறியப்படும். வெண்கலக் கதவுகளை உடைத்துவிடுவேன் என்று அவர் சொல்லவில்லையா? யாதொன்றும் அவர் நோக்கத்தைத் தடுக்கவும் அவர் கட்டளைக்கு முட்டுக்கட்டை போடவும் முடியாது. கடவுளுக்குச் சேவை செய்பவர்களுக்குஎல்லையில்லா வாய்ப்பு உண்டு. மனித முயற்சிக்கு வழி அடைக்கப்பட்டதுபோல தோன்றலாம். ஆனால் நம்பிக்கை உள்ளவர்களுக்கு வழி தெளிவாய் இருக்கிறது. இந்த வாக்குறுதியில் சொல்வதுபோல யேகோவா இருமுறை நான் செய்வேன் நான் செய்வேன் என்று சொல்வதைச் சந்தேகிப்பதற்குநாம் யார் ?

„Ich will vor dir hergehen und die Höcker eben machen; ich will die ehernen Türen zerschlagen und die eisernen Riegel zerbrechen.“ Jes. 45, 2.

Dies war für Cyrus; aber es ist immerdar das Erbteil aller geistlichen Diener des Herrn. Lasst uns nur im Glauben vorwärts gehen, und der Weg wird für uns gebahnt werden. Krümmungen und Wendungen menschlicher Schlauheit und satanischer List sollen für uns gerade gemacht werden; wir sollen es nicht nötig haben, ihren Irrgängen und Windungen zu folgen. Die ehernen Türen sollen zerschlagen und die eisernen Riegel, womit sie befestigt waren, zerbrochen werden. Wir sollen keines Mauerbrechers noch Hebeisens bedürfen: der Herr selbst will das Unmögliche für uns tun, und das Unerwartete soll geschehen.

Lasst uns nicht in feiger Furcht niedersitzen. Lasst uns auf dem Pfade der Pflicht vorwärts eilen; denn der Herr hat gesprochen: „Ich will vor dir hergehen.“ Unsere Sache ist nicht, zu fragen warum? Unsere Sache ist, zu wagen und vorwärts zu dringen. Es ist des Herrn Werk, und Er wird uns in den Stand setzen, es zu tun: alle Hindernisse müssen vor Ihm weichen. Hat Er nicht gesagt: „Ich will die ehernen Türen zerschlagen“? Was kann seinen Zweck hindern oder seine Ratschlüsse vereiteln? Die, welche Gott dienen, haben unendliche Hilfsquellen. Der Weg ist dem Glauben klar, obgleich der menschlichen Kraft versperrt. Wenn Jehovah spricht: „Ich will,“ wie Er es in dieser Verheißung zweimal tut, so dürfen wir nicht zweifeln.
