Our Field of Battle
For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. (Deuteronomy 20:4)
We have no enemies but the enemies of God. Our fights are not against men but against spiritual wickednesses. We war with the devil and the blasphemy and error and despair which he brings into the field of battle. We fight with all the armies of sin—impurity, drunkenness, oppression, infidelity, and ungodliness. With these we contend earnestly, but not with sword or spear; the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.
Jehovah, our God, abhors everything which is evil, and, therefore, He goeth with us to fight for us in this crusade. He will save us, and He will give us grace to war a good warfare and win the victory. We may depend upon it that if we are on God’s side God is on our side. With such an august ally the conflict is never in the least degree doubtful. It is not that truth is mighty and must prevail but that might lies with the Father who is almighty, with Jesus who has all power in heaven and in earth, and with the Holy Spirit who worketh His will among men.
Soldiers of Christ, gird on your armor. Strike home in the name of the God of holiness, and by faith grasp His salvation. Let not this day pass without striking a blow for Jesus and holiness.

நம் போர்க்களம்
உங்களுக்காக உங்கள் சத்துருக்களோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணவும் உங்களை இரட்சிக்கவும் உங்களோடேகூடப் போகிறவர் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்று சொல்லவேண்டும் (உபா.20:4).
ஆண்டவரின் எதிரிகளேயல்லாமல் வேறு எதிரிகள் நமக்குக் கிடையாது. நாம் மனிதருக்கு எதிராகப் போர் புரியாமல் ஆவியைச் சார்ந்த துன்மார்க்கத்துக்கு எதிராகவே போர் புரிகிறோம். பிசாசோடும் போர்க்களத்துக்குள் அவன் கொண்டுவரும் தெய்வ நிந்தனை, பிழைகள்,நம்பிக்கையின்மை முதலியவற்றிற்கு எதிராகவே நாம் யுத்தம் செய்கிறோம். பாவத்தின் சேனைகளாகிய அசுத்தம், குடி, மற்றவர்களை ஒடுக்குதல், விசுவாசத்தை மறுதலித்தல், தேவபக்தியின்மை முதலியவற்றோடு நாம் போர் செய்கிறவர்களாயிருக்கிறோம். இவற்றுடன்மும்முரமாகப் போரிட்டாலும் வாள், ஈட்டி உபயோகிப்பதில்லை. போருக்காக நாம் பயன்படுத்தும் ஆயுதங்கள் சரீர சம்பந்தமானவையல்ல.
நம் கடவுளான யேகோவா தீமையானவற்றையெல்லாம் வெறுக்கிறார். ஆகையால் அவர் இந்தத் தெய்வீகப் போரில் நமக்காகப்போர்செய்ய நம்மோடு வருகிறார். அவர் நம்மைக் காப்பாற்றுவார். நன்றாகப் போர் செய்து வெற்றி பெறக் கிருபையளிப்பார். நாம் கடவுள் பக்கம் இருந்தால் அவர் நம் பக்கம் இருப்பார் என்று திட்டமாய் நம்பலாம். இவ்வளவு மாட்சிமையுள்ள நண்பர் நம்மோடு இருக்கும்போது போரின்முடிவு குறித்து நாம் சந்தேகம் கொள்ளவேண்டியதேயில்லை. உண்மை ஆற்றல் வாய்ந்தது. ஆகையால் எப்படியும் வெற்றி பெறும் என்பதல்ல. ஆனால் சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள பிதாவிடமும், வானத்திலும், பூமியிலுள்ள எல்லா அதிகாரமும் பெற்ற இயேசுவிடமும், மக்களிடையே தம்சித்தத்தை நிறைவேற்றும் பரிசுத்தஆவியிடமும் அந்த ஆற்றல் இருக்கிறது.
கிறிஸ்து போர் வீரரே, ஆயுதங்களைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள், தூயவரான கடவுளின் நாமத்திலே தாக்குங்கள். விசுவாசத்தினாலே அவர் இரட்சிப்பைப் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள். இந்தநாளிலே இயேசுவுக்காகவும் தூய்மைக்காகவும் எதையும் தாக்காமல் இராதேயுங்கள்.

„Denn der Herr, euer Gott, gehet mit euch, dass Er für euch streite mit euren Feinden, euch zu erretten.“ 5. Mose 20, 4.
Wir haben keine anderen Feinde, als die Feinde Gottes. Unsere Kämpfe sind nicht gegen Menschen, sondern gegen „böse Geister“. Wir führen Krieg mit dem Teufel und der Lästerung, dem Irrtum und der Verzweiflung, die er auf das Schlachtfeld bringt. Wir kämpfen wider alle Heere der Sünde – Unreinheit, Trunksucht, Bedrückung, Unglaube und Ungöttlichkeit. Hiergegen streiten wir ernstlich, aber nicht mit Schwert oder Speer; die Waffen unserer Ritterschaft sind nicht fleischlich.
Jehovah, unser Gott, hat Abscheu vor allem, was böse ist, und deshalb geht Er mit uns, um für uns in diesem Kreuzzuge zu streiten. Er will uns erretten und Er will uns Gnade geben, einen guten Kampf zu kämpfen und den Sieg zu gewinnen. Wir können uns darauf verlassen, dass, wenn wir auf Gottes Seite sind, Gott auf unserer Seite ist. Mit einem so hohen Verbündeten ist der Kampf nie im Geringsten zweifelhaft. Es ist nicht dies, dass die Wahrheit mächtig ist und siegen muss, sondern dass die Macht bei dem Vater ist, der allmächtig ist, bei Jesus, der alle Macht im Himmel und auf Erden hat, und bei dem Heiligen Geiste, der seinen Willen unter den Menschen wirkt.
Streiter Christi, legt eure Rüstung an. Schlagt darauf im Namen des Gottes der Heiligkeit, und ergreift im Glauben sein Heil. Lasst diesen Tag nicht hingehen, ohne einen Streich für Jesus und für die Heiligkeit zu führen.
