    1<\/span> And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spake unto Moses<\/span> and unto Eleazar<\/span> the son of Aaron<\/span> the priest, saying,
    \n2<\/span> Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel<\/span>, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers’ house, all that are able to go to war in Israel<\/span>.
    \n3<\/span> And Moses<\/span> and Eleazar<\/span> the priest spake with them in the plains of Moab<\/span> by Jordan<\/span> near Jericho<\/span>, saying,
    \n4<\/span> Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded Moses<\/span> and the children of Israel<\/span>, which went forth out of the land of Egypt<\/span>.
    \n5<\/span> Reuben<\/span>, the eldest son of Israel<\/span>: the children of Reuben<\/span>; Hanoch<\/span>, of whom cometh the family of the Hanochites: of Pallu, the family of the Palluites:
    \n6<\/span> Of Hezron<\/span>, the family of the Hezronites: of Carmi<\/span>, the family of the Carmites.
    \n7<\/span> These are the families of the Reubenites: and they that were numbered of them were forty and three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
    \n8<\/span> And the sons of Pallu; Eliab.
    \n9<\/span> And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses<\/span> and against Aaron<\/span> in the company of Korah<\/span>, when they strove against the LORD:
    \n10<\/span> And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah<\/span>, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.
    \n11<\/span> Notwithstanding the children of Korah<\/span> died not.
    \n12<\/span> The sons of Simeon<\/span> after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites: of Jamin<\/span>, the family of the Jaminites: of Jachin<\/span>, the family of the Jachinites:
    \n13<\/span> Of Zerah<\/span>, the family of the Zarhites: of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.
    \n14<\/span> These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty and two thousand and two hundred.
    \n15<\/span> The children of Gad<\/span> after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites: of Haggi<\/span>, the family of the Haggites: of Shuni<\/span>, the family of the Shunites:
    \n16<\/span> Of Ozni, the family of the Oznites: of Eri<\/span>, the family of the Erites:
    \n17<\/span> Of Arod, the family of the Arodites: of Areli<\/span>, the family of the Arelites.
    \n18<\/span> These are the families of the children of Gad<\/span> according to those that were numbered of them, forty thousand and five hundred.
    \n19<\/span> The sons of Judah<\/span> were Er<\/span> and Onan<\/span>: and Er<\/span> and Onan<\/span> died in the land of Canaan<\/span>.
    \n20<\/span> And the sons of Judah<\/span> after their families were; of Shelah<\/span>, the family of the Shelanites: of Pharez<\/span>, the family of the Pharzites: of Zerah<\/span>, the family of the Zarhites.
    \n21<\/span> And the sons of Pharez<\/span> were; of Hezron<\/span>, the family of the Hezronites: of Hamul<\/span>, the family of the Hamulites.
    \n22<\/span> These are the families of Judah<\/span> according to those that were numbered of them, threescore and sixteen thousand and five hundred.
    \n23<\/span> Of the sons of Issachar<\/span> after their families: of Tola<\/span>, the family of the Tolaites: of Pua, the family of the Punites:
    \n24<\/span> Of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites: of Shimron<\/span>, the family of the Shimronites.
    \n25<\/span> These are the families of Issachar<\/span> according to those that were numbered of them, threescore and four thousand and three hundred.
    \n26<\/span> Of the sons of Zebulun<\/span> after their families: of Sered<\/span>, the family of the Sardites: of Elon<\/span>, the family of the Elonites: of Jahleel<\/span>, the family of the Jahleelites.
    \n27<\/span> These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those that were numbered of them, threescore thousand and five hundred.
    \n28<\/span> The sons of Joseph<\/span> after their families were Manasseh<\/span> and Ephraim<\/span>.
    \n29<\/span> Of the sons of Manasseh<\/span>: of Machir, the family of the Machirites: and Machir begat Gilead<\/span>: of Gilead<\/span> come the family of the Gileadites.
    \n30<\/span> These are the sons of Gilead<\/span>: of Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites: of Helek, the family of the Helekites:
    \n31<\/span> And of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites: and of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites:
    \n32<\/span> And of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites: and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.
    \n33<\/span> And Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah<\/span>, Hoglah, Milcah<\/span>, and Tirzah.
    \n34<\/span> These are the families of Manasseh<\/span>, and those that were numbered of them, fifty and two thousand and seven hundred.
    \n35<\/span> These are the sons of Ephraim<\/span> after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites: of Becher<\/span>, the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.
    \n36<\/span> And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.
    \n37<\/span> These are the families of the sons of Ephraim<\/span> according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph<\/span> after their families.
    \n38<\/span> The sons of Benjamin<\/span> after their families: of Bela<\/span>, the family of the Belaites: of Ashbel<\/span>, the family of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites:
    \n39<\/span> Of Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites: of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.
    \n40<\/span> And the sons of Bela<\/span> were Ard<\/span> and Naaman<\/span>: of Ard<\/span>, the family of the Ardites: and of Naaman<\/span>, the family of the Naamites.
    \n41<\/span> These are the sons of Benjamin<\/span> after their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six hundred.
    \n42<\/span> These are the sons of Dan<\/span> after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan<\/span> after their families.
    \n43<\/span> All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were threescore and four thousand and four hundred.
    \n44<\/span> Of the children of Asher<\/span> after their families: of Jimna, the family of the Jimnites: of Jesui, the family of the Jesuites: of Beriah<\/span>, the family of the Beriites.
    \n45<\/span> Of the sons of Beriah<\/span>: of Heber<\/span>, the family of the Heberites: of Malchiel<\/span>, the family of the Malchielites.
    \n46<\/span> And the name of the daughter of Asher<\/span> was Sarah<\/span>.
    \n47<\/span> These are the families of the sons of Asher<\/span> according to those that were numbered of them; who were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
    \n48<\/span> Of the sons of Naphtali<\/span> after their families: of Jahzeel<\/span>, the family of the Jahzeelites: of Guni<\/span>, the family of the Gunites:
    \n49<\/span> Of Jezer<\/span>, the family of the Jezerites: of Shillem<\/span>, the family of the Shillemites.
    \n50<\/span> These are the families of Naphtali<\/span> according to their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and four hundred.
    \n51<\/span> These were the numbered of the children of Israel<\/span>, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.
    \n52<\/span> And the LORD spake unto Moses<\/span>, saying,
    \n53<\/span> Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.
    \n54<\/span> To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.
    \n55<\/span> Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.
    \n56<\/span> According to the lot shall the possession thereof be divided between many and few.
    \n57<\/span> And these are they that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon<\/span>, the family of the Gershonites: of Kohath<\/span>, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari<\/span>, the family of the Merarites.
    \n58<\/span> These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites. And Kohath<\/span> begat Amram<\/span>.
    \n59<\/span> And the name of Amram<\/span>‘s wife was Jochebed<\/span>, the daughter of Levi<\/span>, whom her mother bare to Levi<\/span> in Egypt<\/span>: and she bare unto Amram<\/span> Aaron<\/span> and Moses<\/span>, and Miriam<\/span> their sister.
    \n60<\/span> And unto Aaron<\/span> was born Nadab<\/span>, and Abihu<\/span>, Eleazar<\/span>, and Ithamar<\/span>.
    \n61<\/span> And Nadab<\/span> and Abihu<\/span> died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD.
    \n62<\/span> And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel<\/span>, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel<\/span>.
    \n63<\/span> These are they that were numbered by Moses<\/span> and Eleazar<\/span> the priest, who numbered the children of Israel<\/span> in the plains of Moab<\/span> by Jordan<\/span> near Jericho<\/span>.
    \n64<\/span> But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses<\/span> and Aaron<\/span> the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel<\/span> in the wilderness of Sinai<\/span>.
    \n65<\/span> For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua<\/span> the son of Nun.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
