    1<\/span> And Israel<\/span> took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba<\/span>, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac<\/span>.
    \n2<\/span> And God spake unto Israel<\/span> in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob<\/span>, Jacob<\/span>. And he said, Here am I.
    \n3<\/span> And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt<\/span>; for I will there make of thee a great nation:
    \n4<\/span> I will go down with thee into Egypt<\/span>; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph<\/span> shall put his hand upon thine eyes.
    \n5<\/span> And Jacob<\/span> rose up from Beersheba<\/span>: and the sons of Israel<\/span> carried Jacob<\/span> their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
    \n6<\/span> And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan<\/span>, and came into Egypt<\/span>, Jacob<\/span>, and all his seed with him:
    \n7<\/span> His sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt<\/span>.
    \n8<\/span> And these are the names of the children of Israel<\/span>, which came into Egypt<\/span>, Jacob<\/span> and his sons: Reuben<\/span>, Jacob<\/span>‘s firstborn.
    \n9<\/span> And the sons of Reuben<\/span>; Hanoch<\/span>, and Phallu<\/span>, and Hezron<\/span>, and Carmi<\/span>.
    \n10<\/span> And the sons of Simeon<\/span>; Jemuel<\/span>, and Jamin<\/span>, and Ohad<\/span>, and Jachin<\/span>, and Zohar<\/span>, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman.
    \n11<\/span> And the sons of Levi<\/span>; Gershon<\/span>, Kohath<\/span>, and Merari<\/span>.
    \n12<\/span> And the sons of Judah<\/span>; Er<\/span>, and Onan<\/span>, and Shelah<\/span>, and Pharez<\/span>, and Zarah<\/span>: but Er<\/span> and Onan<\/span> died in the land of Canaan<\/span>. And the sons of Pharez<\/span> were Hezron<\/span> and Hamul<\/span>.
    \n13<\/span> And the sons of Issachar<\/span>; Tola<\/span>, and Phuvah<\/span>, and Job<\/span>, and Shimron<\/span>.
    \n14<\/span> And the sons of Zebulun<\/span>; Sered<\/span>, and Elon<\/span>, and Jahleel<\/span>.
    \n15<\/span> These be the sons of Leah<\/span>, which she bare unto Jacob<\/span> in Padanaram<\/span>, with his daughter Dinah<\/span>: all the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty and three.
    \n16<\/span> And the sons of Gad<\/span>; Ziphion<\/span>, and Haggi<\/span>, Shuni<\/span>, and Ezbon<\/span>, Eri<\/span>, and Arodi<\/span>, and Areli<\/span>.
    \n17<\/span> And the sons of Asher<\/span>; Jimnah<\/span>, and Ishuah<\/span>, and Isui<\/span>, and Beriah<\/span>, and Serah<\/span> their sister: and the sons of Beriah<\/span>; Heber<\/span>, and Malchiel<\/span>.
    \n18<\/span> These are the sons of Zilpah<\/span>, whom Laban<\/span> gave to Leah<\/span> his daughter, and these she bare unto Jacob<\/span>, even sixteen souls.
    \n19<\/span> The sons of Rachel<\/span> Jacob<\/span>‘s wife; Joseph<\/span>, and Benjamin<\/span>.
    \n20<\/span> And unto Joseph<\/span> in the land of Egypt<\/span> were born Manasseh<\/span> and Ephraim<\/span>, which Asenath<\/span> the daughter of Potipherah<\/span> priest of On<\/span> bare unto him.
    \n21<\/span> And the sons of Benjamin<\/span> were Belah, and Becher<\/span>, and Ashbel<\/span>, Gera<\/span>, and Naaman<\/span>, Ehi<\/span>, and Rosh<\/span>, Muppim<\/span>, and Huppim<\/span>, and Ard<\/span>.
    \n22<\/span> These are the sons of Rachel<\/span>, which were born to Jacob<\/span>: all the souls were fourteen.
    \n23<\/span> And the sons of Dan<\/span>; Hushim<\/span>.
    \n24<\/span> And the sons of Naphtali<\/span>; Jahzeel<\/span>, and Guni<\/span>, and Jezer<\/span>, and Shillem<\/span>.
    \n25<\/span> These are the sons of Bilhah<\/span>, which Laban<\/span> gave unto Rachel<\/span> his daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob<\/span>: all the souls were seven.
    \n26<\/span> All the souls that came with Jacob<\/span> into Egypt<\/span>, which came out of his loins, besides Jacob<\/span>‘s sons’ wives, all the souls were threescore and six;
    \n27<\/span> And the sons of Joseph<\/span>, which were born him in Egypt<\/span>, were two souls: all the souls of the house of Jacob<\/span>, which came into Egypt<\/span>, were threescore and ten.
    \n28<\/span> And he sent Judah<\/span> before him unto Joseph<\/span>, to direct his face unto Goshen<\/span>; and they came into the land of Goshen<\/span>.
    \n29<\/span> And Joseph<\/span> made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel<\/span> his father, to Goshen<\/span>, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.
    \n30<\/span> And Israel<\/span> said unto Joseph<\/span>, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou art yet alive.
    \n31<\/span> And Joseph<\/span> said unto his brethren, and unto his father’s house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father’s house, which were in the land of Canaan<\/span>, are come unto me;
    \n32<\/span> And the men are shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.
    \n33<\/span> And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation?
    \n34<\/span> That ye shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen<\/span>; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
