Covenant Reaches Children
And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. (Genesis 17:7)
O Lord, Thou hast made a covenant with me, Thy servant, in Christ Jesus my Lord; and now, I beseech Thee, let my children be included in its gracious provisions. Permit me to believe this promise as made to me as well as to Abraham. I know that my children are born in sin and shapen in iniquity, even as those of other men; therefore, I ask nothing on the ground of their birth, for well I know that “that which is born of the flesh is flesh” and nothing more. Lord, make them to be born under Thy covenant of grace by Thy Holy Spirit!
I pray for my descendants throughout all generations. Be Thou their God as Thou art mine. My highest honor is that Thou hast permitted me to serve Thee; may my offspring serve Thee in all years to come. O God of Abraham, be the God of his Isaac! O God of Hannah, accept her Samuel!
If, Lord, Thou hast favored me in my family, I pray Thee remember other households of Thy people which remain unblest. Be the God of all the families of Israel. Let not one of those who fear Thy name be tried with a godless and wicked household, for Thy Son Jesus Christ’s sake. Amen.
ஓகஸ்ட் 01
பிள்ளைகளோடும் உடன்படிக்கை
உனக்கும் உனக்குப் பின்வரும் என் சந்ததிக்கும் நான் தேவனாயிருக்கும்படி எனக்கும் உனக்கும் உனக்குப் பின் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக வரும் உன் சந்ததிக்கும் நடுவே என்உடன்படிக்கையை ஸ்தாபிப்பேன் (ஆதி.17:7).
ஆண்டவரே என் ஆண்டவராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவில் உம் ஊழியக்காரனான என்னோடு ஓர் உடன்படிக்கை செய்திருக்கிறீர். அதன் நிபந்தனைகள் இப்போது என்பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் பொருந்தத் தக்கவையாய் இருக்கச் செய்யுமாறு உம்மை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன். மேலே கொடுக்கப்பட்ட வாக்குறுதியை ஆபிரகாமுக்கு அளித்தது போல எனக்கும் அளித்திருக்கிறீர் என்று நம்பச்செய்யும். மற்ற மக்களின் பிள்ளைகள் போல் என் பிள்ளைகளும்துர்க்குணத்தில் உருவாகி பாவத்தில் கர்ப்பந்தரித்தருக்கிறார்கள். ஆகையால் அவர்கள் பிறப்பைச் சார்ந்ததாக நான் எதையும் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளவில்லை. ஏனெனில் மாம்சத்தால் பிறப்பது மாம்சமாயிருக்கும். ஆண்டவரே உம்முடைய பரிசுத்த ஆவியினால் அவர்களை உம் கிருபையின்உடன்படிக்கையின் கீழ்ப் பிறக்கச் செய்யும்.
தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக என் மரபில் பிறப்பவர்களுக்காகவெல்லாம் நான் வேண்டிக்கொள்கிறேன். நீர் என் கடவுளாயிருப்பது போல் அவர்களின் கடவுளாயும் இரும். உமக்கு ஊழியம் செய்ய என்னை அனுமதித்திருப்பதே எனக்குக்கிடைத்த பெரும் வாய்ப்பாகும். வரும் ஆண்டுகளில் என் மரபினர் உமக்கு ஊழியம் செய்வார்களாக! ஆபிரகாமின் கடவுளே ஈசாக்கின் கடவுளாயும் இரும். அந்நாளின் கடவுளே அந்நாளின் சாமுவேலை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளும்.
ஆண்டவர் என் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு ஆதரவு காட்டியிருக்கிறீர்.உம்முடைய ஆசீர்வாதத்தைப் பெறாத நிலையிலிருக்கும் மற்றக் குடும்பத்தினருக்காக உம்மைவேண்டிக் கொள்ளுகிறேன். இஸ்ரவேலின் எல்லாக் குடும்பங்களுக்கும் கடவுளாயிரும். உமக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்கள் கடவுள் பயமில்லாத துன்மார்க்கமான குடும்பத்தினரால் சோதனைக்கு ஆளாகாமல்இருப்பார்களாக. இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலம் இந்த விண்ணப்பத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்.

„Und ich will aufrichten meinen Bund zwischen mir und dir, und deinem Samen nach dir, bei ihren Nachkommen, dass es ein ewiger Bund sei, also, dass ich dein Gott sei und der deines Samens nach dir.“ 1. Mose 17, 7.
OHerr, Du hast einen Bund mit mir, Deinem Knecht, gemacht in Christus Jesus, meinem Herrn; und nun, ich bitte Dich, lass meine Kinder in seine gnädigen Vorkehrungen mit eingeschlossen sein. Gestatte mir, an diese Verheißung zu glauben, als eine, die für mich genauso wie für Abraham gegeben ist. Ich weiß, dass meine Kinder aus sündlichem Samen gezeugt und in Sünden empfangen sind, wie die anderer Menschen; deshalb bitte ich nichts für sie um ihrer Geburt willen, denn ich weiß wohl, dass „was vom Fleisch geboren ist, Fleisch ist“, und weiter nichts. Herr, lass sie durch Deinen Heiligen Geist unter Deinem Gnadenbund geboren werden!
Ich bete für meine Nachkommen in allen Generationen. Sei Du ihr Gott, wie Du der meine bist. Meine höchste Ehre ist, dass Du mir erlaubt hast, Dir zu dienen; mögen meine Nachkommen Dir in allen künftigen Jahren dienen. O Gott Abrahams, sei der Gott seines Isaaks! O Gott der Hanna, nimm ihren Samuel an!
Wenn Du, Herr, mich in meiner Familie begnadigt hast, so bitte ich Dich, auch anderer Häuser der Deinen zu gedenken, die ungesegnet bleiben. Sei der Gott aller Familien Israels. Lass nicht einen von denen, die Deinen Namen fürchten, den Kummer haben, die Seinen gottlos und böse zu sehen, um Deines Sohnes Jesu Christi willen. Amen.
